Welcome to my website, my name is Joey O'Connell here you will be able to see some of the work I have done recently.
I am studying creative digital media level; 6 in St. Johns Central College, I have learned how to develop websites, create animations, using adobe software such as Photoshop, Premiere pro, Animate CC, After effects and Blender for 3D.
After Effects
I enjoy using After Effects a lot, we recently had a kinetic text assignment where I learned how to put effects on text to go behind a song. Develop and create a 10 second animated typography sequence making use of conceptual visuals and sound.
This sequence must include narrative text. It may consist of music, video, animation, still images and/or graphics to help establish the setting and tone of your animation. Storyboard your animated sequence and include drawn screenshots of the timeline, keyframing, layers, animated effects etc. My song choice was Champagne Poetry by Drake.
Animate CC
Animate CC is also a software I enjoy using. We are creating vector animations for the HSE this year which will be shown on the HSE website. The animation is explaining O-Pat treatment service for patients who may be discharged from hospital and continue their treatment at home.
Blender
Blender is my favorite software; it is used for 3D design. This year I learned how to apply textures and materials to objects. My latest assignment is to create a scene of three buildings with realistic sizing and features. I created a spooky scene with dark lighting and three creepy buildings. I added streetlighting and trees too.
